Stockton Parish Council Website

We are in the process of resurrecting the Stockton Parish Council website which has been in existence since 2006 but badly needs updating.

The Parish Council encompasses the rural hamlets of Stockton, Apley Park , Astol, Higford, Crowgreaves and Norton village. 

Parish Council meeting dates, agendas, meeting minutes and relevant Shropshire Council information together with local Councillor Names will be available on-line soon.

The aim is for the site to become a useful resource for the local community something similar to local village sites such as www.claverley.net 

In order to achieve this there will be pages available to local groups, events and fundraisers, local information, local businesses and links to other useful websites.

Groups such as the Stockton Bowling club, Over 60s, Norton Ladies group, Norton Art group, Stockton church (Six Parishes), Neighbourhood Watch and Rural Watch schemes, Royal British Legion etc would be ideal additions to the site.

Local information such as a history of the area, even local photographs can be included on the site to make it more interesting, not only for the local residents but for those visiting the area and people who have moved away and want to stay in touch via the web. The monthly newsletter will also be posted on a regular basis.

If you wish your group, business or service to be included, have an event coming up, have written a local history, have some photographs of the area, have some  ideas that would be good for the site or want to get involved in designing and maintaining the web-site please send your information in.
